A: Yes... absolutely! Many of our most popular items, both custom and stock, are available to order right here from this site. Q. HOW MANY DIFFERENT ITEMS DO YOU OFFER?
A: The truth is, it's hard to say exactly. We estimate the number of products and style to be somewhere around 750,000 to 800,000! As a member of the leading national promotional products associations we represent and directly distribute for more than 5,000 manufacturers nationwide, and have access to manufacturers that do not deal directly the end user or consumer. Many of these products are name brand, widely recognizable in many different markets as both resale and promotional merchandise.
Q: WHAT IS THE MOST POPULAR PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT?
A: While there is no particular product that is the "most popular", there are some that are more frequently used in specific demographic areas. Much of this depends upon climate, surrounding businesses, and other market driven parameters. Some products, however, are commonly used across the board in all applications. Probably the most common of which would be Pens, Pencils, Matches, Bumper Stickers, Coffee Mugs, and Refrigerator Magnets.
Q: WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO PROMOTE MY BUSINESS?
A: With any advertising or marketing application, there is "no one thing" that will provide a magical fix for your business promotional needs There are some methods and products that lend themselves better to one than another. For instance, here in Key West, Florida, (where our main office is located), you would probably not want to give a way "Ice Scrapers". Something a little more tropical would do better! Unless of course you are attending a trade show in Green Bay, Wisconsin in the winter! Or, if you are marketing a small "mom & pop" local business, you most likely are not going to want start by buying national television tine in the top 5 markets of the country. The trick is knowing the right marketing methods and products, for the right application, based upon your budget. That's where we can help. Our marketing consultants will be more than happy to work with you to choose the best ways suited for your business or particular need.
Q. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST FOR CUSTOM PRODUCTS?
A: As with many things, you can spend a little, or you can spend a lot. It depends on what type of product you need and how many you want to get. From as little as twenty five cents (or less) per item, to twenty, thirty, and even forty dollars each. Most of the more common items, however, range from about a dollar to five dollars.
Q: WHAT ARE THE SET-UP AND SCREEN FEES?
A: The set-up, screen fees, plate charges, etc. are the costs involved in creating the artwork and/or original tooling to produce your product. These charges may also be referred to as scan fees, engraving fees, digitizing fees, or by many other terms depending on the application. Usually, in about 95% of the instances, these fees are a "one time only" charge, applied only to your fist order of that item. For re-orders of a particular product, (with no changes), you will generally not encounter these fees again. If, however, you need to make changes, you will need to create new artwork and/or tooling and may encounter these fees again. While set-up fees of one kind or another are almost always applicable, we at The Marketing Store have waived them on most of our Special Product offers available from this website, when purchased via the Internet.
Q: WHAT IS CAMERA READY ART?
A: Camera ready art is a term used for logos, or other artwork that is ready to be reproduced with no additional work being done. If for instance, you want to purchase a bumper sticker with your company logo, you will need to provide a good, clean, preferably black and white copy to be used for reproduction. In some cases where a black and white copy is not available, a copy printed in red or another dark color may work. If your logo is comprised of more than one color, you may be asked to supply camera ready, color separated artwork. If good, clean, camera ready artwork is not available, that does not mean you can not use your logo or other item on your product. It simply means that you may require some additional art services and costs.
Q: HOW DO YOU SHIP MY ORDER AND HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
A: We generally ship via FEDEX , UPS or via the USPS. If you have a specific deadline you need to meet, it may be necessary to use an expedited method, however, we normally ship using ground freight. As far as how much it costs, obviously that will depend upon what you order. We do not add any fees to the carrier's actual, billable cost.
